Ido Chawan - Gwiyal

Handmade by ceramicist Moomooyo who specializes in Korean buncheong teaware using locally foraged black clay. Strokes of buncheong slip are applied with a brush resulting in a unique pattern after firing.

The ido chawan was developed in Joseon-era Korea and quickly became one of the most-prized matcha bowl shapes for its wabi-sabi aesthetic.
